Current exhibition in Voltabräu in Basel

Exhibition in the Edwin Surplus Store in Weil am Rhein, until the end of February 2016

Based only a stones throw away from the Surplus Store, we are currently showcasing a selection of work from German born artist, Christoph Göttel. Using fragments from magazines, advertising and photographs, Christoph creates his work with the addition of paint, colour and tape. If you’re in town, come down and take a look for yourself.

Now in the Zooloose Store , www.zooloose.ch

The in Basel based graphic designer Göttel is currently showing some of his art works in the zooloose PURE. Göttel (*1963) studied graphic design at the “Freie Kunstschule FKS” in Stuttgart and made his living as a self-employed graphic designer after his graduation in the late 80’s. Since 1996 he is fully determined to his creative passion and is regularly exhibiting his works in the region. At the moment, various works of the native-born Saarlander can be seen at our store in Basel at the Theaterstrasse 10. The works combine loose sites of magazines and newspapers with painted and drawn elements. At the first sight the images seem familiar but after a closer look you’ll see fantastic and sometimes grotesque displays. The in-store-exhibition can be visited from Monday to Saturday at our usual opening-hours.

Lead by the proven direction of Volker Scheurer, five artists from the “Dreiländereck” (Tri-Regio Switzerland-France-Germany) have transformed the Loeba Treuhand GmbH into a culture- and art room for one night. 300 visitors were amazed by the art works, live music and the artistic presentation.
